A lot of buzz in the Marvel fandom since a new report states that a big prison action scene has been filmed for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The report states that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be fighting against an army of Ninjas in prison.

Well, this just might be Marvel’s way of having its own version of the Court of Owls, who were predominantly a part of the DC Comics.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Prison Scene Might Be Marvel’s Answer to DC’s Court of Owls

Well, the alleged big prison scene in the MCU might just be Marvel’s answer to DC Comics’ iconic moment. The Court of Owls is a secret criminal organization in Gotham and is the primary antagonist of Batman.
They later made their on-screen debut in 2015’s Batman vs. Robin as a part of the DCAU before making their live-action debut in Gotham. Naturally, with the alleged news that a similar scene has been shot in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it might just mean that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man might be fighting off against a massive army, similar to Batman and the Court of Owls.
The Big Prison Scene Might Confirm Michael Mando’s Villainous Role

Back in 2017, the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduced us to Michael Mando’s portrayal of Mac Gargan during one of the post-credits scenes of the movie.
Mac Gargan famously becomes the Scorpion in later Marvel comics, and fans had high hopes that Michael Mando would be doing the same later on. However, the plot of Scorpion was kind of left hanging for quite a while, and no confirmations were given.
However, with the prison scene and Michael Mando’s Mac Gargan, last seen in prison, there is high speculation that we shall finally see Mando’s Scorpion during that prison scene in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Although it remains a theory with no confirmation, the fans are quite excited for this one. Only time will tell whether the wait was worth it or not for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
