After tackling roles like Bane and the Spider-Man villain Venom, actor Tom Hardy has reportedly made a major career move by releasing a rap album with the collective Czarface. The rap album, titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, features Hardy as the persona Frankie Pulitzer, and the album has officially crossed 500K views on YouTube, as of August 30, 2026.
In particular, the song Mad Technology has crossed 252K at the time of this writing. The Venom star has not come out and acknowledged his rap persona, although the references in the album point to him being the performer. The album also features Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P.

Tom Hardy is best known as an actor and Hollywood star, with the British actor known for his incredible performances in Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Bronson, Legend, and more. The actor has also prominently featured as Eddie Brock a.k.a. Venom in the Sony Venom films, and also had a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Since 2021, Hardy has reportedly collaborated with the hip-hop supergroup Czarface, appearing under the moniker Frankie Pulitzer. He has featured on the supergroup’s EP, Good Guys, Bad Guys, with some of the songs even being featured in Hardy’s film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
This is not the first time Hardy has pursued music, as the actor had previously worked on a mixtape, Falling on Your Arse, where he performed under the pseudonym Tommy No.1. The mixtape was recorded in 1999, but was later released in 2018 (via Variety). He has been rapping since he was 14 years old.
Now, the Locke star has released his first full-length album along with Czarface. Titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, the album features 15 songs and has prominent rap artists in the booth, featuring on certain tracks.

While Tom Hardy has never publicly acknowledged his rap persona or career, there are plenty of references to it in his debut album, Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer. Many of his verses are characterized by pop culture references, references to movies, literature, and comic books, keeping it on brand with his filmography.
In the latest album, Hardy brings back his Bane voice from The Dark Knight Rises, reciting a monologue from Richard III in the song ‘Grim-Visaged War’. In the song ‘Gnawing at my Rhyme like a Poisonous Rat’, he referenced Leonardo DiCaprio (whom he shared the screen with in The Revenant) and Titanic.
Hardy has also made references to Stephen King, name-dropping two prominent works from the writer, Cujo and Misery, in the song ‘Mad Technology’. He also name-drops Kathy Bates, who played the lead character in the film adaptation of Misery. In the same song, Hardy gave a reference to Across the Spider-Verse and shouted out Shameik Moore.
